BJ McMahon's, Ashburn
BJ McMahon's is located between 54th CT and 55th Ave in Oak Lawn, IL. It is a great bar and everyone is all but guaranteed to have a great time when stepping foot into BJ McMahon's. The service is only only good but it's always exceptional. A lot of Chicago bars can be pretty standoffish to outsiders but BJ McMahon's is not only different but they're overly welcoming to outsiders.
The beer selection is phenomenal. We should say that it is not not like a microbrewery with 45 beers on tap, but they definitely have a great selection on tap. BJ McMahon's is always adding something new and they're definitely into suggestions in regards to beer. The food, on the other hand, is exceptional. Don't bother trying to count calories at BJ McMahon's. Sit down and enjoy some of the best burgers, onion rings, and fried zucchini.
They don't offer a happy hour. Come in and enjoy yourself during any time. It has a casual feel and anyone will feel welcomed. It's not incredibly loud but it's also not bare bones quiet. If you head to BJ McMahon's you'll most definitely enjoy yourself.
