Johnson-Phelps VFW Post 5220
Well what can we say? We threw this in the list because everybody loves a good old fashioned VFW hall. When it comes to dive bars this is the definition except it's clean. Can't go wrong with that. They rarely if ever accept any sort of a credit card and that should be known if you're a human in America. It's a fantastic place to have some drinks on a Friday and get some dancing in.
It goes without saying but the Johnson-Phelps VFW Post 5220 attracts an old crowd seeing as it's a post for Veterans of Foreign Wars. The VFW has over 1,300 members and giving them your support is absolutely a must if you're in the area. Even if you stop in for a drink or two it's worth it because you can help them out.
Obviously this is a prime choice for groups, showers, wedding receptions, and graduation parties. So step in, have a great time, and enjoy the atmosphere. Be sure to thank somebody for their service. They deserve it.
