Schaller's Pump
Schaller's Pump is a fantastic Southside tradition. If you're from there or you're going there, visiting Schaller's Pump is a must. It's one of the best places to go to before or after a White Sox game, or to even watch a White Sox game on television for the sole reason of not watching it alone at home!
Schaller's Pump is filled with locals from the Bridgeport neighborhood. it's got photos of the first mayor Daley and 11th awrd democratic organization on the walls. It sets it apart from the other dives and because it's got character. Don't expect a huge beer list when you visit Schaller's Pump. The place is a dive and that's why we love it.
Schaller's Pump is open every day at 11:00 AM and closes at 2:00 AM except on Saturdays. On Saturdays they open at 4:00 PM and close at 3:00 AM. Sundays they're closed. Hey, everybody needs a break sometime!
