Ollie's Lounge is a must visit if you're looking for a top of line dive bar in Andersonville. When you go to Ollie's Lounge, you relax, bob your head to the beat, have some nuts, drink your beer or cocktail, and just chill. Ollie's Lounge is about chilling and having a good time and that's exactly what you'll do.
The bar is located at the front left of of the entrance so when you walk in there's no guess as to what's going on. You'll have a drink in no time and you can go exploring. Ollie's Lounge is definitely a hidden gem in Andersonville and Chicago alike. It's not been affected by gentrification and most definitely still offers an extremely diverse and welcoming group of people.
The drinks aren't exactly top shelf liquor but if you're going to have a strong drink, some good conversation, and to relax then Ollie's Lounge is for you. Make sure to say hello to the hostess with the mostest, Ms. Ollie. She's been there for over 30 years and is the ultimate host.
