Simon's Tavern
Simon's Tavern is known as a hot spot for bar crawls and pub crawls in Chicago. If you show up on one of those nights you'll be sure to find yourself lost in a sea of bar crawl folk with those glow in the dark necklaces. The atmosphere is right and that must be why Simon's Tavern attracts such an eclectic group of people.
The staff is great and incredibly nice. There are stories of the owner of Simon's reaching out to people and offering them umbrellas when they're stuck in the rain. That's what we call customer service. The decor is a little tattered but if you're going to Simon's and expecting a luxurious bar or lounge then you're in the wrong place. Simon's is a hunter's lodge themed bar and you'll make sure that you have a good time if you head in knowing and expecting that.
