The Brixton
The Brixton is a comfortable and intimate bar / restaurant. We like to think that it has a standard English pub feel mixed with a modern day bar and that's not a bad thing. They specialize in craft cocktails which means if you like sipping on a pleasurable drink then you're sure to enjoy having a drink at The Brixton.
They have a lounge located upstairs which most patrons seem to not notice right away due to the ridiculously welcoming main area on the first floor. The second floor overlooks their equally as inviting patio area which is quite spacious if we do say so. It should be noted that if you're upstairs that the only service is drink service. Meaning, you cannot eat or order food on the second floor. That might be perfect for those who just wish to unwind with a cocktail or two after a long day in the office
The patio and main floor serve a full menu until Midnight which is great for people who work second shift and can get off of work in just enough time to have a drink and meal before retreating to their home in order to get ready for the next day. The Brixton is truly one of the gems of Andersonville and Chicago alike. Be sure to try burger. It is to die for.
